Pit Radar helps friends find metal shows and share which ones they are interested in. This page explains the information used to provide that service.
Signing in and information we store
Clerk manages authentication. When you choose Google sign-in, Google provides basic profile and email information to Clerk for your account. Pit Radar stores your verified Clerk account ID, the public nickname you choose, and your interested and hidden show choices.
What other people can see
Your chosen nickname and the shows you mark Interested are public in the shared gallery, including to people who are not signed in. Choose a nickname you are comfortable sharing. Hidden show choices apply to your account and are not displayed to other visitors.
Services that help run the site
Vercel hosts the site, Neon provides the database, and Clerk provides sign-in. These providers process information needed to operate and secure their services, including operational and security logs. Authentication uses cookies and related session technology.
Exa receives public show search queries for the discovery workflow; Pit Radar does not send app user profiles to Exa. Show images may load from external listing hosts, which can receive usual web request information such as your IP address and browser details. Opening a source link takes you to that source’s website and its own privacy practices.
Your choices and deletion requests
You can change your nickname and remove your interest in a show through the site. For account or app data deletion requests, email grifmang@gmail.com. Requests are handled manually and may require confirming account ownership. Deleting an account with an authentication provider does not automatically purge Pit Radar’s database.
